Hi, i really love that XOOPS has a lot of features, but maybe sometimes it has too much options, and may be confusing to the visitors on XOOPS sites.

I'm talking about the comments. Its great that you can decide wether you want a threaded, plain, etc view of the coments, but i'v been watching my visitors and they don't really even know what all this is about. So sometimes this kind of desitions should be only for de web designer to think about.

Is there a way to disable such options and leave them as standard to all users?

Also, is there a way to disable the text formating editor in the comment form? i dont want users being able to do STUFF LIKE THIS! within my site's design. Not to speak of how the editor is confusing to a lot of visitors.

Going ven further, i really don't think as necesary 2 clicks to get to post a coment, i would like if instead of having the posibility to choose the display order of the comments at the article's page, the user found the posting commentary form directly, and something very simple, kind of wordpressy like:

Name: Optional
E-Mail: Required
Site:Optional
Comment:Required

off course, if the user is logged in just the Comment: would appear.

I think this will encourage visitor's comments because its easyer.

How can i do to get it working like that?

pd: sorry about my english, my native languasge is spanish.

Hi i just found the module for integrating 4images into XOOPS in the xoops.org module repository, but it is just for new installations of 4 images, but i have already a running site with 4 images, is there a way to migrate my existing 4images site into a XOOPS module of a bigger page??
