greetings,

I'm struggling with the upload of word documents in the news 1.44 module while pdf files are going smoothly.

When I upload I receive this error :

MIME type not allowed: application/msword

in filup.ini.php I changed subtype to the following

$subtype = "gif|jpe?g|png|bmp|video|audio|zip|
lzh|pdf|excel|msword|powerpoint|octet-stream|
x-pmd|x-mld|x-mid|x-smd|x-smaf|x-mpeg|x-shockwave";

I also tryed adding "word", "ms-word", "application/msword", "doc"

but I keep getting the same error.

Can anybody help me out ? I hope I'm giving enough information tnx anyway !

maarten

Hi,

I've developed a module and it works quite well.

After upgrading to XOOPS 2.2 I got a new admin panel with the 2 new menus "preferences" and "modules" in wich all my modules appear.

But my own module is not shown, off course I can acces them via "module administration" but I'd like to have them in those 2 menus as well.

So I guess there's something I forgot to do, but I have absolutely no clue.

Somebody can help me out ?

Hi after upgrading to XOOPS 2.2 a module I wrote myself is not listed in the "modules" section in the admin menu.

Can anyone tell me what I have to do to have this module listed ?

tnx

Thank you very much, my problem is solved. I guess I have to look further before asking questions on this forum.

fyi my blank pages were caused by the template_c directory wich was chmodded to 755 by my webspace provider.

tnx again

Hi

I have the following problem(s) :

In the "news" module: A news item is displayed fine but whenever an anonymous/registered/webmaster user wants to "read more", the main section is blanco but the menu and header are still there.

In the "piCal" calender module : If any user wants to read more about an event, he clicks on it and he should get al the information from that event, but guess what : I get a totally blanco page !!

A have absolutely no clue on this so I'd be very happy if anayone can give some hints/tips/advice or a solution

the XOOPS version I use is 2.0.13a

the site :http://ov.gbsweb.be (in dutch)

tnx in advance

hi, I'm using dms 1.0 on my XOOPS site.

I want to hard link from i.e. a newsitem to a file that is stored in dms. But if I just copy the url I got

http://ov.gbsweb.be/modules/dms/index.php#

which doesn't point to a specific file.

Is there anybody who knows a solution ?

tnx
