I moved the files to a different folder on the root drive and renamed them. Based on the instructions I assumed I was to do this BEFORE running the upgrade process.

Does anyone have any idea what I should do at this point?

I was following the directions in the "release_notes.txt" under the section "Upgrading from XOOPS 2.0.* above 2.0.14 and 2.2.* (using the full package)"

I'm using XOOPS 2.2.4 but my system module version indicates version 2.1.3. I have updated the module but it remains the same. Is this normal, something that I need not worry about? The latest version of XOOPS Info brought this to my attention again and is telling me to get an update, then refers me to 2.16.

I am using XOOPS 2.2 with News Module 1.44 and Wordpress 1.52. I would be great if:

When a reader of a News article wants to make a comment about it the "comment" link would take them to the Wordpress module to submit their comments there.

It would be even cooler if the first time a comment was posted on a given News article and new Topic in Wordpress would be created with subsequent comments being directed to the appropriate location.

Does any or all of this already exist (in some form) and, if so, is there an FAQ available to set this up?

I recently upgraded to 2.2.4. In the admin.modules area where I have updated the system to "take" the update my XOOPS version says 2.1.3 even though I upgraded 2.2.3a to 2.2.4. The site works just fine but I wonder why the version is reflected incorrectly. Also, is there some coding in the theme or template files that would reflect these changes as they occur in the footer of the site? If so, where and how.

Well ... did all that. Just get a blank screen.

Any help using recovery.php? If so, what settings do I use? Appears that my choices are:
