Hi everyone - I'm brand new to XOOPS so be gentle.
I have searched the forums and this seems to be the only thread hitting on the way I'm going to need to use XOOPS for my site. Correct me if I'm wrong. I have already installed it in the root http docs folder of a new domain, and I intend to create many subdomains which, on my server, generates what I guess is an alias and a folder in my http docs area. So my main site is something like
http://state.com and my sub-sites will be
http://city.state.com or
http://state.com/city - I want to be able to tell folks to login to their city area and get pertinent info about their area, but still have access to the database that has info for the entire state. Is this where you're going with this thread? If not please help me get to the right place.
Thanks for what you are doing, XOOPS is great!
