I have lots of modules running and with all of them I want to change the input forms.
For example for the News module I want to remove fields from the submit news form.
Another example while using xdirectory I want to remove fields when you add a new business listing.
I honestly cant find out anywhere how I can do this.
I really hope someone can help:)

Below are two screen shots of my problem. The first is the block using news 1.31, including tabs.
When you click on topic title it takes you out of the block and you lose the tabs, as shown in the second image.
Is there any way to get round this, so tabs stay all the time?

Thanks for the response hervet. Putting the block on all pages works as you browse through the tabs, but when you click on a news article the article appears but the tab block moves to the bottom of the page.

The tabs/spotlight on the recent news block look brilliant. The trouble is I want the tabs to stay at the top of my page while people browse the news items.
At the moment as soon as anyone clicks on a news article the tabs dissapear, because it is taking you out of the block.
Any idea on how to fix this?

Please help, the spotlight tabs are not working in internet explorer, but do work in mozilla. The tabs look weird and repeat themselves in IE.

I would lik eto create a simple admin area, taking out complicated things, to make it easy for my friend to use who doesn't know computers to well.
