I love XOOPS and I used it for several sites, but I am working on a site, and Nuke seems to suit the project i have better than XOOPS would.

I started out with XOOPS on this project but iam wanting to move the users to PHPNuke 7.9

How can I extract the user's and import them into the phpnuke db?

Never mind, I fixed it. Changed it to:

<table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" id="adspace"

width="760" height="60"><tr><td width="181">
<
img src="/xoops/adspacer.gif" border="0" height="60"

width="181"></td><td width="468><a href="$xoops_banner"><{$xoops_banner}></a>
</td><td width="
131"><a href="/xoops/advertise.php"
 border="
0"><img src="/xoops/adspacel.gif" border="0
 height
="60" width="131"></a></td></tr></table>

works fine now
O_o

I am trying to put my banner module into a table. here is the code:
/xoops/themes/theme/theme.html
<table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" id="adspace"

width="760" height="60"><tr><td width="181">
<
img src="/xoops/adspacer.gif" border="0" height="60"

width="181"></td><td width="468><{$xoops_banner}>
</td><td width="
131"><a href="/xoops/advertise.php"
 border="
0"><img src="/xoops/adspacel.gif" border="0
 height
="60" width="131"></a></td></tr></table>

The banner shows up, but can't click on it...
Everything looks correct in the html.

I am trying to create an affiliate program. I need a script that will be used with banners. How can I make the url keep a tracking tag in it, such ashttp://mysite.com/myxoops/index.php?ref=bob

or something like that. I need to be sure that tag will stay up in the url box through all my pages. Then in my order form I need it to call that tag into the form, which I can do later. I just need to figure out if it is possible to get a tag to stay up there.

Maybe it will have something to do with sessions?

I do not really have any more money to put in, I am just barely in the positive, making just barely over what I pay each month.

The only problem I am having is getting that Xhelp file extracted to my server

Yeah I like Xoops, I used it along time ago and had pretty good results.
I will try what you said, thanks.Quote:

Are you sure XOOPS is for you, there are other systems out there which are dedicated more to the demands you may require.

If it is, you may not need a forum for support, maybe you use a ticket based system to assist customers on a more personal level.

Maybe something like Xhelp:

http://dev.xoops.org/modules/xfmod/project/?xhelp

This one is made by ackbarr.

You could have it so you don't force them to register, but when they buy a package, you create an account for them yourself in the XOOPS admin, then mail them the details along with the invoice.

That could all work.

I need the customers to sign up so that I can offer them technical support. Plus I would like to setup a newsletter or something later on. I might disable the login for now, and just have it to where they can fill out the order form, and then it will take them to the proper page.
I mainly want to use XOOPS because it is easier to create pages and manage links.
