Closest I've got, but no work of course...

<A HREF="file:///C:/Program Files/World of Warcraft/WoW.exe" ></A>

What this does is try to open, as in edit WoW.exe, not launch WoW.exe.

Any advice?

How about changing it tohttp://69.145.10.66 (My gateway) vs my actual URL? That should work the same I would think.

Hey,
If your looking for a fast & easy XOOPS setup, then you have to check out EasyPHP. I have trid all the others suggested within the forums here, and I like this one much better. Hope you do also...

http://www.easyphp.org/
or download links:
http://www.easyphp.org/telechargements.php3

It is clearly intended for developemental purposes, but it very nice software.

If however you figure out how to publish a live site using this, please let me know how you did it. Also any info you did to attempt to make it secure as well. Their FAQ attempts to tell you how to do this, but I have not got mine to work outside my local LAN. My current site I'm woriking on is www.pcdoctorservices.org and if you look at it, you will see what I mean. You can't view my pages correctly outside my network. Yet!

Hope you guys like this software. I sure do...

I checked the mainfile.php and the url was set to my local IP. (192.168.0.115) The virtual path was set to my localloop (127.0.0.1), so I chaned that to my local IP 192...

All still works fine locally, not sure outside yet.

Hello,
I am having trouble getting outside viewers (from the net) to view my pages correctly. click on my link to see what I mean.

PC Doctor

Seems that people can view the text, sort-of...
But the PHP and/or MySQL is not working for outside viewers.

All works locally of course. Regaurdless of what path I use:
127.0.0.1 (loopback)
http://localhost (local)
192.168.0.115 (internal IP)
http://station3 (station name)
http://69.145.10.66/ (gateway IP)
orhttp://www.pcdoctorservices.org (Physical URL)

I have port 80 on my standalone router/firewall for TCP&UDP passed through to my local address 192.168.0.115. I don't think they are geting blocked, but perhaps dn't have access to my database or php functions.

Not sure, and would love any help to guide me to the right area.

Thank you

During a routine install I get this error?
Win XP Pro
Apache 1.3.33
PHP 4.3.10
MySQL 4.1.9
PHPmyadmin 2.6.1

I get this error on page 4, with no previous errors.
Any suggestions to get me in the right spot.

Thx jdseymour,

You were right. I changed 2 setting to get the look I wanted, but both were in the style.css as your suggested.

Thx again :)

Would someone point me to the font size setting for the waiting contents?

I'm referring to the admin blocks that let you know of posts & downloads waiting for approval...
Most settings are in style.css in the theme folder, but can't find this setting yet.

I'm using the wf_steel theme, but I think this setting I'm looking for might be in a common theme spot.

Pls let me know if you know...
Thx

Just wondering if someone could point me to where the font size for the waiting content (Notification Block) is located at?

Most settings are in style.css in the theme folder, but can't find this setting yet.
Thx
