I was running PHP 5.2.0

All I did was downgrade to 4.4.4 and it now works again... Is this a known compatibility problem. I found only one mention (another poster asking about php 5 incompatibility, but didn't find the answer anywhere?

I had a server upgrade done and now i can not access several of the modules -of many XOOPS installations.

Xoops versions include both the 2.2 and 2.0.x iterations

Just about every module is affected, all showing varients of the same error message. On most sites I was not even able to get to admin to set php debugger, but here is data I did get:

When I load the downgrade.php scrip from 2.2.3 to 2.0.X it loads up fine...

I see three buttons:
Downgrade Configuration, User Tables, Blocks

Any advice... Can/Should I downgrade?
Will I be able to upgrade to 2.4 when available?
Should I cut my losses and rebuild now (please say no)

you are absolutely correct. By adding the line:

<{$xoops_module_header}>

to my themes/theme.html file at the same spot, the hang up has resolved.

The appearance of the notification has changed as previously noted, but it is legible and does not stop at that point any more.

Hi,

I upgraded to 2.2.1 and now my site is not automatically reloading once the login information is enterd.

Whereas it previously showed the grey header and reloaded in a second, the message now shows up in a content portion of my template and just hangs there.

The Click HERE link does work to move forward, but it is kind of annoying.

I am using XOOPS as my primary website portal. I built an alpha paging script that I want to integrate. I don't want people sending pages anonymously, and I want to use the XOOPS USERNAME or REAL NAME to propagate to the FROM field of the paging script.

Can someone point me to the section of code where I can store a cookie with the username or real name information obtained during XOOPS login.

I was going to use some code like:

setcookie ('pager_username', $xoops_uname);


and on the pager script

echo $_COOKIE['pager_username'];

If I am way off base, I would love some advice on how to get this to work. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Has anyone update these files? Does anyone have instructions for modifying the code manually?
