What would be the problem if the menu items in a custom block stop showing up but the title of the block can still be seen?

An example: a custom block titled Members Menu has a simple html table that provides a customized list of items like the following:

Members Menu
- item1
- item2

This was working fine since the beginning but the items stopped showing up recently leaving only the title "Members Menu" visible. the only thing I could think of is I have done some upgrades from earlier releases to the latest 2.0.15. But only two sites have this problem and the rest are OK.

Would appreciate your insight on this strange problem. Thanks.

i saw reply from ajaxbr to my question last night but when i click on the post, i get this error message:

Server Error
The following error occurred:

Hack to add "watermark" to displayed articles and news

I know how to do it in perl but would like to know how to do it in XOOPS modules such as section and news. This is what i want to do:

Add a short copyright sentence to the end of earch paragraph. The text will be the same color of the page, so it won't interfere with viewing. But when you cut and paste the article, it shows and it's annoying to the people who don't respect your copyright.

i know they can remove them. But it makes it a little bit difficult for the "pirates".

Your help will be appreciated.

i have read all the posts on this site regarding xoopsheadline etc. but what i would like to know is just the opposite - how to provide news feed from my own XOOPS site to others? is there a function builtin or is there a script that i can download?
