In phpmyadmin some tables give me errors when I click on them. Perhaps my trouble are realted to mysql, which is version 5.1.51

Help. For some reason my xoops site of many years just yesterday started showing only the header and footer. No content. No way to login from the hompage. If I login directly from a redirect like this:
http://www.nwhoa.com/user.php?xoops_redirect=%2Fmodules%2Fprotector%2Fadmin%2Findex.php

I can login, but the system module displays no content/modules.

Any ideas?

FIXED. Thanks to a tip from marcan.

If anyone gets this 500 error in the future (and your hosting company has Phpsuexec installed):

1) make sure there are no php_flag or php_value lines in your .htaccess file

2) make sure you do not have any files or folders set to 777; if you do, set them to 755.

I really don't know what else to try here. I updated my files to version 2.0.13.2, and still get the same error.

My hosting company says it is a XOOPS configuration issue.

my hosting company recently installed Phpsuexec. Perhaps this is the reason for the site being down?

Suddenly Internal Server error?

Well, suddenly my site is displaying this:


Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@nwhoa.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.



More information about this error may be available in the server error log.





Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I successfully went into cpanel/phpmyadmin and logged ito the database. This is what the error log says:


/public_html/.htaccess: Invalid command 'php_flag', perhaps mis-spelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration

Does anyone have any ideas? I am running 2.0.13.1 php 4.4.1 linux

I've been tinkering with this, but still can't get the basic search to return any results. Is there something obvious I am missing?

I have 2.0.10 running (this also occurred in 2.0.9).

Search block is on, all groups have permission.
Type a phrase: "hello"
A new window pops up saying:
Search Results
Keyword(s): hello

...and that is all that is on the page. Same symptom, regardless of what seach phrase is used.

The advanced search works fine. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I missed the step requiring an update to the system module.
