Do a search on 'fatal error'. This is apparently happening all over the place, and requires your host to upgrade the 'Zendoptimizer' libraries, too. I've sent a message to mine, we'll see what they say.

In the meantime, I've posted a temporary 'please come back tomorrow' page. What a total bummer.

This is scary, there seem to be several of these posts today and yesterday.

What do you mean by the core? I'm fearful that I'll lose some hard fought content.

Ouch. I have EXACTLY the same error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in C:\Accounts\tynerram\wwwRoot\kernel\config.php on line 222
Unknown Condition []: in file line

This is very bad. Any other thoughts? I've got lots of content, and suddenly the site is dead.

PHP is 4.3.10

Changing over to the ImageMagick process turned the trick this time. The thumbs came right up, and the pics were accessible. And beautiful.

Thanks!!!!

I installed MyAlbum, the latest and greatest, and got the message "MyAlbum installed successfully". However, unable to upload any photos. Checked permissions via the internal check, and noted inability to write to a certain directory, so tried to fix.

Bottom line, uninstalled, then did a new install, and here is the final bits of info:

...
...
Added block access right. Block ID: 35 Group ID: 4
Added block access right. Block ID: 34 Group ID: 4
Failed to execute xoops_module_install_myalbum

Module MyAlbum installed successfully.

Now, what the heck does tha mean? Failed to execute, then installed successfully?

Thanks,

Mitch

Well, I found the answer, just had to figure out the right search string.

Here's the post that solves the problem. Greatly to my relief....

Soon to finalize the installation, doctor up a theme, and turn this baby on.

Completed installation and have several modules installed successfully. Upon registration as a 'normal' user, I get a message that there was a problem with the e-mail validation and I should contact the administrator. I have used all the e-mail addresses trying to troubleshoot, is there any way to send a 'test' e-mail message from within xoops?

Thanks.
