Yes, XOOPS and newbb are great bits of code ;)

But i cant just "uninstall" phpbb, we have 8000+ members and thousands of posts, im not sure the members would be to happy if we just wiped them off the DB.

So that is the only reason i am asking for a converter, as it would make life alot better for the community.

one last thing is there any way to link phpbb in with XOOPS as a module? running a sepearate DB?

sorry, but this has to be the worst support forum i have ever used, why have you ignored my post? i am simply asking a question that would take around 30 secs to answer?

Can no one just give me a URL to a converter if it exists? im sorry but i am a very busy person and i need my site sorting but i cant find a converter :(

And i have tryed searching for "phpbb" as you said and it retuned nothing but this thread.

Converting my PHPBB database to newbb

Hi guys, i am going to be using XOOPS to power my website, and my forums.

The question is can i convert my PHPBB 2.0.10 database to NewBB? (it's in My-SQL not postgres)

And i cannot start again, losing my forums data is not an option.
