my host recently deactivated my site becasue of an attack on another site on my shared server. When it came back up, all was good except for the oscommerce module which now shows up outside of the site. When you click a link to get to it, it goes to the index page of the shop, but with no common XOOPS header of style sheet or blocks.
It's as if it is calling the link in a blank page. I really do not want ot uninstall and reinstall the module as we have the catalog completely set up. Any ideas s to where the problem may be and/or how to fix it?

nevermind, looks like "news" will do it for me. i am a moron

wraps around html that can display a small part of an article in a block on the front page (more than just the headline)and then links to the entire article on another page? I have looked at alot of modules, but have not been able to find one that does this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello all,
I have been having some problems lately with my site members' private messages. The inbox was not indicating a new message and no notifications (emails) were sent when a user recieved a new message. I fixed the inbox lighting up by updating my system module from the admin panel. I am still not able to get external notifications to go out to let people know they have a new private message. I have looked at just about every page that has anything to do with private messages and am not able to figure out where the breakdown occurs. If there is a page I need to reload or query I need to rewrite, I will be glad to. Any help with this is greatyl appreciated. I am at my wit's end.
