Still really like to get a hold of this hack..
or one that does the same thing ay...
also.. able to change the group they r in once they turn 18?
eg.. so they can have access to R18 forums?

this would be a great add on to my site..

ok.. so i fixed it..
i downloaded my custom templte using the following link..
http://www.YOURSITE.com/modules/system/admin.php?fct=tplsets&op=download&method=tar&tplset=YOURTEMPLATE

i empty out all the template tables in the database
added the default template back in..
then uploaded my template
then updated every module..

back up first b4 doing and databse work.. trust me lol..

ok... so i did a fresh install... didnt fix it...
so i take it... its a prob. with the database?
any ideas would be great :)

php debug doesnt show any thing :(..

Hey Guys,
Have a look at the image below... this is wat my template manager all of a sudden turned to..
i had 3 template sets there b4.. now one with a blank action col. but.. my custom template is still loadin on my site??...atResized Image

Once again, Thanks for the speedy reply...
helps a bit...
wat im tryin to do is make a block that calls things from the database (eg. a news topic, forum topics, an article) from inside one block...
but maybe thats not possiable?
umm... any ways... ill read up on how to make a block and play round a bit :)

second.. forgive me for my slowness lol...

so.. say for the news module... for me to use the smartytag <{$story.title}> or
<{$block.story_title}> in a custom block
how would i use the $xoopsTpl=>getVar(xoops_url) ? to call the file with the smarty tags?
do i need to incude any other .php files?

could you give a basic example?
