This may or may not help...

I talk to the guy that runs my server and I told him I installed XOOPS from cpanel and I was getting a blank page.

He told me to go into my cpanel....got to fantastico...and remove it...

then...(if you have it) go to 'scripts library' and you should be able to install XOOPS from there...

I did that and had noooooooo problems. Everything works great.

He said he has been having alot of problems with fantastico.

He must know what he's talking about. :)

I did try that but when I try to delete them from that group
and the page refreshes it doesn't delete them.

I DON'T KNOW....

I added a few members to my "webmasters" group and now I can't delete them.

Does anyone know how?

Hello everyone,

Is there a way to change the size limit on images submitted by partners?

I looked in the system admin preferences
and didn't see an option to change it.

Well...I had to put my project on hold for a lil while.

BUT... I got it going!!

I just have to tweek it a little bit and I should be done.

I know this is something people have wanted, just not able to find.

When I submit it to XOOPS...In hopes of being excepted...

I hope it will be helpful to at least some.

converting e-xoops module to xoops...possible?????

Here's the thing...

Awhile back I was working on a free dating website and was using e-xoops...my husband created his own matchmaking module that worked great within e-xoops.

Well today I am working on redeveloping this same website...
BUT I am using xoops.

I really want to use it, but I don't know how to convert it, or if I can even convert it at all.

IF I can and get everything working properly, it would be a great module to provide visitors on xoops.org.

I have noticed that a matchmaking module is 1 very needed module.

PLUS...it is MUCH better than whats out there, and I'm not saying that cuz my husband made it.

Some of the features it has are:

• search by zip code
• detailed profile
• photo management
• add to your favorites list
....and much more!

I hope this is something that could work!

Any clue?

I should have told you the exact error it gave me when I turned on php debug...but following the error it gave me I went to my blocks and one at a time turned off 3 blocks...

• shop specials
• best sellers
• shop search

and now it works.

I don't have any other blocks it comes with activated.

I just tried to activate the block for manufacturers and this is the error it gave me.

homepage not showing after installing oscommerce

hello,

i installed oscommerce for XOOPS and i only had one problem...

now my homepage doesn't show. if i go directly to the link with the module on it i have no problem getting there and i can see everything...but when i open up a new browser (with my site set to the homepage) nothing shows.

no errors...nothing. just a blank white screen.

i thought maybe it messed with my prefrences
(i don't know why) but everything is okay there too.

any clue?

Does anyone know of a mod or block that plays mp3's?

If I knew how to program I would....but since I can at least wish...

I wish.... I could put any of my own songs in myself and it play on my site.
