Importing PHPBB to XOOPS

Hi,

I have a PHPBB Based Forum using "Powered by phpBB2 Plus 1.53a based on phpBB 2.0.23". I want to change it to XOOPS.

Is there a XOOPS Forum Module that can import the data in our PHPBB Forum? We want to use the community features in XOOPS without loosing the posts already in our forums.

CHARSET : A annoying problem!

Hi All,

I have a XOOPS installation in spanish,...

I am using
<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />

in the theme.html

The problem is that smartsection articules are displaying wierd characters:
¿Parto vaginal o cesárea?


but if I select the encondig to be "UTF-8" in the browser, it shows perfectly:
¿Parto vaginal o cesárea?


If I select Page Info in FireFox, I see the encoding is ISO-8859-1

How can I change the encoding to UTF-8?

Using ONLY Koivi in CBB 2.2 on Xoops 2.2.3

Hi All,

I am using CBB 2.2 on XOOPS 2.2.3 and I am not really happy...

Is there a way the users can post and get the text right (without showing tags) without dealing with selecting an editor?

Maybe I can force them to use Koivi, but I have no idea how to make Koivi the only editor...

Any ideas or workarounds?
