images uploaded via IMAGE MANAGER - but when i want to insert in a block, it wont display

i created a category via image manager

then i uploaded an image

then i wanted to insert this uploaded image into a block by using the image manager icon (the fourth icon across) BUT...

when i publish the block, it display the image TAG that was inserted when i click the icon and selected the image to be inserted

how may i fix this please help

i checked the theme.html file under the theme that i am using and it has the code already

but i enter the code anyway nd the problem is still there

i cannot send private messages to other members

the pm icon does nothing when i click it

Never mind....

I tried a better script and it now works

for anyone else having the same problem,
the new script I tried is

showbanner();

enter in a block as PHP

i have a block that displays the rotating banners -- i used a script offered elsewhere in this forum -- and all works fine IF i use Internet Explorer (IE) -- but not with firefox ...... any suggestion will be appreciated. You can see the site at www.JesusPrieto.com -- click on the banner and you will get a BLANK PAGE unless you use IE -- please help :(
