found the solution

The domain is not a redirection, it works perfectly... just that it don't look nice when i use the new domain and click on a link in xoops, it uses the old subdomain link

any ideas?

I created a portal for my friends a while ago and installed it under a subdomain of mine.

now that i've got us our own domain, how do i make XOOPS use the new domain instead of the subdomain?

I have control of the domains in my cpanel, the new domain registered being a parked domain pointing to the old directory where i installed xoops.

I've tried searching the database for any fields stating the installation path but couldnt find any.
