I had the same exact thing happen to me with respect to the file not being created. After I created it, shoutbox is now working.

My question is whther or not this thing clears itself after awhile or do I need to delete the contents of the csv evry so often? Also, will my page always display the most recent posts?

For example, if someone is in the chatroom on Sunday. Then 2 weeks go by without a post, will all of the posts from 2 weeks ago still be there?

Thanks for your help!

I find the forums that come with XOOPS somewhat hard to navigate for the occasional surfer. I am curious if there may be something that might fit my needs better. I was thinking that a blog could be the fit that I am looking for but am not sure. I run a football site and would like my visitors to be able to stop by and share their feedback quickly without having to navigate through forums, categories, etc. It would just be one page that would list all posts. By clicking on the post visitors could then see nestled comments.

Would anyone be willing to make a few suggestions for modules, etc?

If you need the address for my site, it is listed in my signature.

Thank you for your help in advance.

This block shows views, but the header says Replies.

Currently:
<td class="head" align="center"><{$block.lang_replies}></td>
Should be:
<td class="head" align="center"><{$block.lang_views}></td>

I'd agree. I use HostRocket for one of my domains and the service has been great. I wish they had a good multiple domain package though. The best multiple domain package I've found ishttp://www.ebizalive.net/.

Thanks TL. Worked like a charm. I can't tell you how happy I am with XOOPS and the support forums. I will be making a donation.

I would also be interested in this. I have headlines in my top page. Currently a visitor is taken to the headline module after clicking on one of the stories from my rss feed, I want a new window to open taking them straight to the story. Thanks for your help. For an example, my site is athttp://www.Chiefscrowd.com.

Koertzen hit the nail on the head. I was having this problem. I changed the from address to something other than webmaster@ and I no longer have a problem. Thanks koertzen!
