Nevermind, I figured it out. Permissions on cache and templates_c had been changed somehow. I have no idea how that happened b/c I haven't updated the site in over a week.

Anyway, its now working.

My site was working perfectly for about 3 or 4 months until this weekend. For no reason on my part now all that is displayed is blank pages. I tried going straight to user.php but I only get a blank page there too. I have a couple of pages that don't import mainfile.php, header.php, and footer.php and all of those pages work fine.

Edit: Here is what view source returns.
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">
<HTML><HEAD>
<META http-equiv=Content-Type content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"></HEAD>
<BODY></BODY></HTML>

Thats it! Any ideas?

Thanks!

tl,

Thanks for the help. It turns out my hosting company has "allow_url_fopen" set to off. I'm in the process of trying to convince them to change it.

Right now I'm using a RSS-to-JavaScript service and using JS to display the feeds. However, I do not like it setup this way, its a little slow.

Sorry if my previous posts were a bit "harsh".

Thanks again!
Here's to 'ya!

I found that article and have already emailed my hosting company for their policy on "url_fopen". I am awaiting their response and I do think it is something on the hosting side.

Thanks for the help.

Whatever!

When I made the 1st post I had not yet tried using the headlines module, notice I asked if there was any built-in support. In the almost 4 hours between my 2 posts I found out I needed to use the headlines module. I installed the module and it didn't work for me.

Nevermind

Yep, doesn't work (or either I'm too stupid to get it to work).

Just wondering, I've used Carp in the past.
