I am also confused because a while back it seemed like all modules where being moved to dev.xoops.org, and now it seems some are being moved back?

What is going on? Please decide where the module repository should be.

There could be some message somewhere on dev.xoops.org that you shouldn't use newbb2 with xoops2.2.x.

That could have spared me some time..

Yeah. This is a problem with XOOPS 2.2.x and Newbb 2.0.2. Let's focus on those releases.

If there was any debug info, it's gone before I can see it because of the page refresh.

OT: Why does XOOPS use meta refresh? Meta refresh is evil.

http://www.w3.org/QA/Tips/reback

If that doesn't work for you, you shouldn't use refresh at all. XOOPS is broken by design on this point if you ask me.

Just flushed the templates_c folder. That didn't help. I will take a look if there is any debug output.

I think I had that as well.

I am using XOOPS 2.2.4. And I am pretty sure it showed up after I upgraded to 2.2.x.

So.. Does anyone know what changes has happened in XOOPS so that this file will not work with 2.2.x?

I will try to contact the site admin on getting templates_c cleared. They belong to www-data, so I can't delete them myself. I am pretty sure browser caching isn't a problem. I have tried it on different browsers on different computers.

Thanks.

Here is what I do. I am running XOOPS 2.2.4.

I log in as admin and go to the admin section.

Then I go into the user menu and select find user. In the first form field (User name) i type in the name of one of my users and click submit.

On the next page the user shows up as the only one on the list. I click the "Edit profile" button.

I get an overview of the user profile and now I fill in a new email address. Then I click save changes.

I get a temporary page which says "Your profile updated" (bad grammar btw..). I am then returned to modules/profile/admin/user.php

I then repeat my steps to see if the change was made, and it is still the same as it was before.

I can't change users email address as admin.

I tried looking at that patch, but it seems my version already has that patch installed, and it still doesn't work.

I get a message that the updates were succesful, but when I call up the user profile again, the address hasn't changed.
