I see. These are primarily intranet sites. We are already on PHP-5. Thanks for the info. Will discuss vulnerabilities with the group to plan next steps.

Hello everyone,

We are managing a few more sites that are running on XOOPS 2.0.9 and 2.0.13 over IE7/Windows XP.

We will be implementing IE9/Windows 7 in the office gradually within the year and would like to know if the XOOPS versions that we're running right now would have any issues with the new OS and browser.

Thanks and rgds.

we're using XOOPS for several sites within the organization, i.e., one XOOPS installation for every site.

some questions:
1. is there a way of categorizing/tagging or relating data across all XOOPS installations? for example, if one site has a link in the mylinks module that relates to 'poverty' and there is another site that has a different link that also relates to 'poverty', can we do something on XOOPS so that we could relate these two links?

2. we are using retrievalware/convera as our enterprise search engine. what should we do to get it to search a XOOPS site? (this could be related to my first question above)

3. are there consultants/firms out there who do enhancements on xoops-based sites?

Great. This just may be the thing we need right now.
Thing is, our firm already has several installations of XOOPS so we'd like to integrate it with our existing Novell eDirectory. On top of this, we're gradually implementing Single Sign-On for all, if not most of our apps.

Just to verify, since we have several XOOPS installations, does this mean we have to do the steps you mentioned for each XOOPS site that we have right now?

Also, would this work with XOOPS ver 2? We're using ver 2.0.3 right now.

Thanks mercibe.

- Allan
