go to /home/pratamaj/public_html/html/class/smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1894 and look for an out of place '$end' or maybe just a out of place '$'. Take it out and it should work, it seems odd though that you would have the problem when others don't seem too.

This was what I had suspected when asking my question about a blank page in this topic

I had already done some of this but then this reminded me that the php.ini is under windows directory; I had not updated that particular copy of the ini.

anymore ideas?

it is still a php-mysql problem and not XOOPS since the phpinfo() does not have a section for mysql. It also turns out when I turned on display_errors it somehow got turned off again but oh well at least I found it. I still get the error Quote:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysql_connect() in c:\Inetpub\wwwroot\test.php on line 2
on my test page and a blank on my index.

I am using the latest version (stable) of php and of xoops. Though MySQL is 3.23.54

I am having the same issue. I have a server 2003 on my intranet that i use for various things including website development (nothing live). I haven't touched XOOPS or anything in website design for about a year but I had previously had php and MySQL and XOOPS all working. Since then a few things have changed which killed MySQL and stuff but I didn't care since I was not using it. Anyway now I have another project so i am putting it all back togethor. I fixed MySQL and upgraded to php 5. I saw the addressed problems with 5 concerning install and that works fine. However once it installs there is nothing, just a white screen.

I have turned on debugging via MySQL direct and via common.php. Absolutely nothing seems to happen. I have read that MySQL -php errors can be the cause but I know they both are working indepently so I assume they are working togethor...

Any thoughts as to what may be causing this? or ideas on how i can troubleshoot to see if MySQL is the issue.

It works, I just did it. Great simple fix. Everything seems to have gone fine after this fix (get text sanitizer error but I think I remember that from when I last used xoops, have been out of website development for nearly a year) though I do get a blank screen after the install. However I've been doing XOOPS long enough that i'd bet its just a common error that I just need to find. Probably will be up in running in another minute.

I use wf-downloads and when you go to download something it always tells me "headers already sent" so yeah hassn't gone live yet...

Anyone use this?

I am modding it for my own use but the importing of cvs doesn't work. Apparently their is a whole directory missing from teh module download.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: zip_open() in /usr/home/redempt/public_html/modules/pricelist/admin/index.php on line 566


so on and so forth on the csv page and others...

any ideas? if not anyone know of a good way to export excel to
mysql? I can use myodbc to import from MySQL but excel doesn't seem to have an export function.

well glad to see people are interested, written a couple hundred lines of code over the last two days so it is on its way. It was put off for today and probably tomorrow for a quick module install/modification/setup on my site but work will continue tomorrow evening or the next day.

Some things have changed since the documentation was last uploaded. New documentation (more complete too) will be loaded probably next week.

As far as building locations and stuf I'm not sure yet... that whole idea is going to be rethought out.

In any case innitial Alpha release will probably early may... (maybe a little before:) )

than again it could be sooner...

Once most of the actual module code is complete (or at least thouroughly designed) it will be useful for some people to write out what starting effects should do and than turning them into code should not be too hard. (I want the module to ship with starting stuff so that people can use that without making their own)

In anycase I will keep you informed from time to time.

I haven't had a chance to actualy test this since its newest version (working on my own module and such) does it now have "homepages"/indexes that are the onl pages listed in the main edito page?
