Hi all,I have installed XOOPS on my local web server and been messing around with it for a while now (its fab by the way). Last night I decided to direct a friend to have a look at the site using my IP address.
After he logged in, all he got in the menu was View Account.. nothing else, I don't think the page was fully rendered as in his screen dump there was no footer bar either (but no error messages). When I connect (with the same username etc) I get all the expected menu options.

Is this likely to be the way my/his firewall is set up or how my webserve is set up ? or something else completely

I am running Apache 1.3.19 on windows XP

Any tips/advice much appreciated.

Hi can anyone give me a hand with a problem with the icontent module. I can't use the spaw editor to create/modify pages in the module.

When i try to create a page using the spaw editor i get a javascript error.
I have had a look using a javascript debugger for IE but I am not very good with js, however it points to the code below being a problem on one of the lines of code generated by a class in the module (I think)

onLoad="SPAW_editorInit('pageContent','include/wysiwyg/wysiwyg.css','ltr');"

Can anyone see anthing obviously wrong with this bit of javascript ?

thanks

Great looking module, well done, so many functions

Just a bug report to add
When setting the main document image to a gif the following error occurs:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: imagecreatefromgif() in wfsection\include\functions.php on line 336

risto ..
I like the site, are you trying to make this in to a module, if so are you adapting the TPLLeague module or creating from scratch ?
And are the 'players' linked to users in XOOPS at all ?

All these questions .... sorry ;)
good work anyway

I am new to XOOPS which is fab by the way, just playing around with all the modules at the moment but I am building a site for a rugby club.

I have installed the module TPLLeagueStats which is good however I have been thinking about trying to learn more about XOOPS by trying to build a module that does fixtures but also player stats for a team. The idea being that you can keep track of trys, penalties, drop goals, substitutions, yellow/red cards etc of each player over the season.

I also found a good add on to PHPBB which is a prediction/fantasy league that users of your site can take part in. So now have started thinking if I could incorporate this too ? I keep getting loads of ideas and the module in my head seems to be getting a rather complex, I should probably start simple and get to grips with the XOOPS core ... Any thoughts on my ideas ? I am pretty sure there isn't anything like this for XOOPS yet but if anyone knows any different let me know.
Ta
