Finally i found the post :)

1) I dont understand then, why is there the option if its not posible to do it?
I already allow uploads, thought this doesnt make the moderators image to hide :) it becames available to all.
I dont want to block upload to everyone, i like ppl to have their own avatar, bue if this is the only option then i will consider it.

2) For what i see on the thread the hack works with WF-Sections only, and i have XF-Sections in my site :( bad luck until the XOOPS developers add the function to upload several avatars at once or modify the hack to work in 2.0.6 without WF-Sections...

Thanks for the help

Allright, that was insightfull thanks a lot.

Now that you name it, and maybe getting on the edge of the topic...

Do you recommend setting Smarty on??

Is there a wiki page about it and how to set the caches for best performance?? I really dont know how they work and dont seem to find something describing what i need.

Thanks.

I started my site online, and so i uploaded XOOPS and configured everything and started sending content, all online.

Now i have downloaded XSAS -Xoops Stand Alone Server- and i was thinking how can i make this thing to use my local copy of my "www" folder.

I tryed replacing the one that XSAS brings, the one that XSAS brings has www/xoops2/and-all-the-things-here, so i made a "xoops2" folder inside my "www" and moved everything inside it, then copied the same 3 files that where in the XSAS "www" to my new one, and replaced the XSAS one with mine.

This reported several errors in several lines, as is trying to use my online path (/home/myuser/www/) and of course, fails to find it

Any tips on how to make my online XOOPS work in XSAS in my PC? I want this because i dont have broadband and cant be online to do all the tests and things i want to try.

What are the differences between E-Xoops and Xoops?

I know that E-Xoops is based on Xoops, so, are there any _real_ differences?

I want to block access to the avatars that the webmasters/mods use, while leaving the users to choose among the others i uploaded... How can i accomplish this?? I already tried the "Make visible" (or similar) Yes and No function when uploading the image, but it didnt worked...

Also i would like to know where can i upload via FTP the avatars so i dont have to upload them manually...

Thanks in advance!
