Hello,

Is there any of you knowing a XOOPS module that may interface with an Asterisk (see www.asterisk.org) IP PBX ?

Some functioanlaities I would like to get are :
* SIP Directory of the website members - Just click to phone them
* Conference call meeting room rerservation

I saw some link refering to a 'ippbx' module for XOOPS but download links doesn't seem to work and I didn't fnd any information about functioanlities ...

Many thanks,
Franck

Hello,

I installed MyXoopsFroge on a XOOPS 2.2.3.

When I go to the xfmod module of this package, it switchs to the admin theme, which should not happen.

As MyXoopsForge is not really maintained anymore, I have to hack it by myself and my question is:

In Xoops, where is declared if a module should appear with the front-end theme or with the admin theme ?

Many thanks,
Franck

Hi,

I have been looking for a while for XOOPS internal variables definition and indication on how to use them.

For example, I would like to add, at the top of my theme a "you have a new message" when the registered user has a new private message.
Which variable should I call to get the info ? Is it a global one ?

Thanks for the help,
Franck

[CBB] limited options choice

Hello,

Here is another "question of the day" regarding CBB

I would like set some options in the modules and that these options are not available for choice from the users side, as most of the time they don't understand a bit about them.

The options I would like to put is :

* Force the use of a specific editor,
* Force to allow html, XOOPS code and smiley
* Do not show the corresponding click boxes in the "options" section in the editing section of the forum (my users don't have to mind about this)
* Do not show the "Select your desired form type" box.

I didn't find any straight way to do this so any idea would be welcome.

Thanks a lot,
Franck

Hello,

First, I use newbb and then cbb for a while and this module really comes better and better.

But as always, there is other needs ...

I am wondering how to have a block, similar to the "last posts" one but rather showing the "unread messages" .

I am not a XOOPS specialist so I would be interested to know how to "hack" an existing block to do this or cretae a new one.

Thanks for any ideas,

Sincerely,
Franck

Xoops image manager

I am using XOOPS for several, general purpose websites.

I find it wonderful ... Except one thing:

The standard "image manager" of XOOPS is quite horrible and not so easy to use to allow to classify images without having to go to the admin menu, showing thumbs rather than full images and still being easy to use as most of the members of my website are far from being IT specialists ...

My questions are then :
* Do I badly use or miss somtinh regarding the standrad image manager ?
* Is there any other iumage manager alternatives ?

I have website based both on 2.0.13 and 2.2.3.

Thanks in davance,
Franck

Hi,

Even if XOOPS 2.2 seems to show interesting new fgeatures, it seems not to be mature enough to be used today and we should better switch back to XOOPS 2.0.x.

Do you share my point of view ?

Thanks,
Franck

All the installation step went fine until the screen "Please choose your site admin's name and password." Where nothing happen when I select next.

Any idea ? Shoudl I stick with 2.0.x for the time being ?
