Hi guys,

Has anybody played with MoinMoin wiki or even tried to make it into a module? (http://moinmoin.wikiwikiweb.de/ )

Would be great to be able to use it as a module!

Thanks!

Yeah, I saw those too ($allowupload etc). So I checked the profile, accounts and fullpath ($fp) settings.
No luck so far.

Let's see if you get a reply.

Thanks!

Yes, I found out about the trashcan. Thanks.

Now, it appears that only uploading is not possible. I can create directories and create files, but no uploading.

Could it be that you a stream or some kind of access is prevented by the XOOPS system itself (security?).

my structure:

/modules/webfilebrowser/files and within the files directory the trashcan is there and it is displayed correctly.

Any thoughts on this, it's driving me crazy

Hi there carnuke,

I totally agree and are thankfull for the help!

I did look at the invision filemanager but find it to have too much 'bells and whisstles'. I really like the simplicity of webfilebrowser, but then again that's personal.

Thanks for the pointer tho!

Right! got it.

The module now appears working just fine. But whatever basedir I set it to (which all are apache owned) I can not upload. Ofcourse php.ini is set correctly to allow uploads and another web based upload utility is working just fine.

Something I'm missing here?

Thanks in advance!

Wel.... just installed it and it works like a charm.

Need to test it more thorough but the first impressions are impressive!!! Nice hack

Just 1 question though, how to change the base path for files? I want to copy over ftp files to a seperate dir and change permissions to apache.

Thank you VERY much for your SWIFT reply en work!!

That would be WAY cool!

Thanks for your efforts.

ofcourse I did not give up and got it displaying correctly now.

inserted
include("../../mainfile.php");
include("../../header.php");
include("../../footer.php");

at the right places. Security, uploading and groups is a mess tho. Hopefully you are getting this straight.

Hi all,

I use webfilebrowser (http://www.webfilebrowser.org/) and would love to use it as a module within xoops.

I'm no programmer, but I gave it a try by reading the wiki and looking at samples (e.g. Anti-DOS and phpwiki) but failed.

I could get the home-brew 'module' installed and displayed in the mainmenu, but it shows up full screen instead of block and security (groups) is not working.

Does anybody have some time to take a look at modularizing webfilebrowser? I pretty sure it's not too hard and time consuming, but it's beyond my personal capabilities.

Much appreciated!

Within the header of xoops, or in the main memu so it can be viewed from within all modules.

More brainstorming....

- 'modulename' = statusindicator
- Number of statuses can be set by admin
- Each status has short description and icon/gif
- Each status has a setable URL to point to
- Only 1 status can be active
- Registered users can click 'change status' button
- (or even who can change status set by admin via groups)
- Username who changed status shown/not shown option
- Status times out and falls back to default status?? (minutes)

I want to use it so that a user can set the status to 'Immediate help needed!' seen by everybody. When a user clicks on this status indicator, he will be transfered to a chat module where the person in need is hanging around waiting for help. When done, the user who needed help has to change the status back to 'Green' (All cool), or it simply times out and falls back to default status 'Green'.

My hope is to achieve faster help and more efficient communication when help is needed immediately.

make any sense?

TIA
