Ok, I think I know where is the problem.

I have changed system_redirect.htm file in theme/modules/system to my standard theme.htm with system_redirect.html name.

Now it redirects me to a changed theme (I mean those headers, like news, downloads and so on) but there is no menu and none of the blocks are displayed...

Xoops version 2.5.1a, but the same thing was on 2.5.0

The page url is mywebsitename/modules/xnews/submit.php or mywebsitename/modules/xnews/comment_post.php etc.

I am using blue_shine theme, and yes, I modified it, but only the names of links and nothing more, the structure remains the same.

Yes, there is a modules directory in the theme, and this folder contains 2 other folders: system and news

I don't get the redirect page in between, it instantly sends me to a bad theme (same theme, but with almost empty page - there are no blocks and etc. only headers of main links, but those are also incorrect (like a standard theme)...I hope you understood what I said..

I've noticed that the same happens when I try to rate the news...
And after posting a comment...

Yes, I did this, but nothing changed... After submitting news, it redirects to some different template, rather than normal index page.

BTW, thanks for the try

Hello every1,

I've got a problem with xnews 1.71 module. Whenever I submit news (in admin menu or in index) I am always redirected to weird page of my website, it seems like it is an old (not modified) theme.html file.

How can I make it to redirect to normal index page of my website?

Thanks in advance

But I don't think that the problem lies in my windows configuration, because If I open the ad in a separate window everything is just fine, it is displayed, but when I put the code in my website, the ad isn't displayed.

In my opinion somewhere .htacess blocks google ad, or xoops code isn't compatible.

I updated my xoops to 2.5.1a and the problem still exists...

Nope, can't find the problem...

I haven't got much time to look for it recently, but still I don't even know where to begin from, just browsing the files and can't figure it out...

Have you managed to solve the problem? Because I am facing the same problem with my translations...

I think the problem is that my website blocks JavaScript. Because I installed extcal module and it is not showing pictures (uses JavaScript).

Google adsense also uses java. Anyone knows how to turn it on? I just can't find from where it can be blocked...

It is not a silly question, there are no silly questions :)

I thought so in the first thing, but I tried to open the website on firefox, IE, on my Nexus one, tryed on my girlfriend pc, on my netbook. Turned off the antivirus and other what could potentially block the ad and nothing, same result.

The problem is that the block is empty, even there is no border of adsense ad - just the name of the block and that's all.

I could post a link to my website if it is necessary and if you want of course, but don't think that it a problem regarding ad blocking from client side.

I am thinking of two possible reasons, either it is xoops system either it is a host provider. But I don't really think that is host provider, then it leaves with xoops?
