I have been setting up a web site here and have used Wfsections. It handles everything fine except the presentation of the articles, which I would like to improve.

I started looking at modifying the index module to get rid of the blocky table presentation and to switch it to CSS... giving me more control.

Before I plough into this without any documentation on how it works, has anyone else done this or does anyone have docs on how wfsection works?

wfsection.xoops2.com seems to be down and have been down for quite some time now, so there is little around to go on.

Late last night while trying to figure out how why some other things were not working I found the debug feature in preferences. It displays quite a long list of variables available.

thanks for the info... I'll try reading up on Smarty.

Does anyone know how I can create the concept of a 'page', such as appears for each module which is installed.

I want to be able to display a 'page' which consists of certain content and certain sideblocks.. nothing magic... but I'm having a nightmare trying to get there.

We've been attempting to set up a company site with a straight forward structure. A collection of articles, each one in a category such as Security, Php, MS.Net, Legal.

We've been trying to come up with a simple way of displaying this with a menu bar which relates to the categories, i.e clicking on 'security' will open the security section and display the content body showing only the security category.

On top of this we've trying to work out how to display a list of related weblinks in a sidebar.

Has anyone done this? Almost all XOOPS sites seem to be community sites and not portals as such. Enterprise-x comes close to doing what I want.

Does anyone know of a list of XOOPS variables available in a template?

I would like to pull elements like the site banner and place it onto the template but can't work out how you know what is available and what they relate to.

What I'm referring to are the <{$xoops_banner}> type variables which are picked up by Smarty.
