I have the same problem for mediashow, didn't try your other problem yet. My site is also redirected and I'm still looking for some solutions.

ok my bad, I tried to create a document inside a directory that was created only in the database because I created it before giving the permissions to my repository dir. Everything works just fine now.

So adamsmar I guess the beginning / should help

I think you have to put your / before var as /var/www/html/modules....

but anyways for me it didn't solve the problem. I'm using the new 0.5 version and I get the same error.

my repository directory has 777 for permissions so I don't know what else to try
