Hello,

I was curious if anyone knew how to hack the code and make the registration script email you the IP of the person registering. I know you get the username but I would like to get the IP as well.

Hi I wanted to know how to add the users IP address to the registration notice. Currently each person that registers it sends me a copy of their username but I would like to also include other info about them like IP address and browser and user OS and such.

Do those values come from the servers time or something?
I am trying to figure out where it gets the time value from and how it gets there. It could just have been the server adjusting for the time zone change late. But since I dont know I can't figure that one out.

Instead of the usual users online info I get I am seeing this with some of the names listed :

asterisk20xx: -482 seconds

I have seen things in the positive but never listed as negative time.

As far as I know nothing has changed with the server. And definately nothing changed with the setup.

Thanks I needed that too.

It would be nice however if that feature could be enabled on a per forum basis though and or on a thread basis.

So far all issues I have seen with people having trouble registering have been directly linked to cookie blocking software and or firewalls not showing the referer field

I need to be able to have users to be able to choose to have full text of forum posts. I see the option in the Global menu for the admins. But I would like to be able to do that per forum and or per topic so that those users that prefer to have messages emailed to them can choose that option.

I would love to allow registered users to recieve full text of the forums postings.

Hello,

I was curious if there was a way to allow users to get the full text of a message under the user notification option.

I see that option as an admin but my registered users can only get the option to get sent a link of new postings.
