you did ask about news, not Marcan´s modules...

Marcan´s modules & instant-Zero modules aren´t the same. Maybe they do similar things, but different programmers, so different code you´ll find there.

I feel it was a surprise for you... Don Curioso give a solution, hehehe. I have tiem to learn about xoops... and i use the search, hehehe.

Canonical URI´s over Xoops

Hi,

we believe with Celseven, our programming partners than we will found a solution to have canonical URL under Xoops.

Create a file. Htaccess with the following code:


Options + FollowSymlinks

RewriteEngine on

RewriteCond %{ HTTP_HOST }^hispaxoops.com [ NC ]

RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.hispaxoops.com/$1 [L,R=301]

Change this domain for yours, save and upload to your XOOPS folder.

Edit header php, around line 69 and include these lines:


//www.celseven.com - Definir URL Canónica - XOOPS

echo "<link rel='canonical' href='".XOOPS_URL.$_SERVER['REQUEST_URI']."'/>" ;

//www.celseven.com - URL Canónica definida

Save&upload.

Hi,

you can register something like xoopsbulgaria(dot)com or xoopsbg(dot)com, it cost 5,79€/year, a good hosting servide around 50 €/year... easy, fast, simply to do... and cheap.

It´s only an idea... of course you´ll do the best you consider it !

DCrussader, XOOPS are welcome in every country over the world !!! We only need one to start there.

you have to real ways to do

1 - Use the search here. You can find a real solution if you have some patience... not to much, only one search are enough for it.

2 - Open extra folder on News, rename to "plugin.tag.php" the file you´ll find there & move to include folder... that´s all!.

again, we made a translation of a module. With no modifications inside, spanish users can find on "readme" file (leemeeeeee for us) all intructions, no hidden code, no hidden links, neutral spanish.

Hello,

one more time, we made a translation of a module. Dank je wel Ghia to gave us the right module that we were look, once in a time we got it, we did translate to Spanish and made two modifications, spanish users can find on "readme" file (leemeeeeee for us), no hidden code, no hidden links, neutral spanish.
