I have looked everywhere, but haven't found a single instruction on how to upgrade from 2.4.x to 2.5.0, and when I try to upgrade in the same way I've done with previous versions (in this case, copy the full 2.5.0 package over the existing files, copy the upgrade folder, and then access the upgrade folder) it just tries to redirect me to the page /upgrade/install/index.php, which doesn't exist.

Just had a look at XoopsPoll and overall it looks good. Only thing is the admin index page gives me a blank with these warnings (on 2.4.5):

Warning: include_once(/modules/marquee/class/menu.php): failed to open streamNo such file or directory in file /modules/xoopspoll/admin/index.php line 45
Warning
: include_once(): Failed opening '/modules/marquee/class/menu.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/share/php:/usr/share/pear'in file /modules/xoopspoll/admin/index.php line 45

Also, just as a suggestion, I would like to recommend to show the module options "bar" also when the module preferences are displayed. Why not show both the system options and the module options toolbars all the time when in a module (I would assume this is something for 2.5.1 though).

I noticed a strange thing in 2.4.x compared to 2.5.0. If in album view, the links are directly to the images instead of public-photo.php, like in 2.5.0. Am I missing something here?

XoopsPoll 1.31 is in the repository.

Hoping I will have time to get 1.4 out in the spring, but don't count on it.

Problems with MyMenus, CSS, and IE7

I am trying to replace Multimenu with MyMenus on my site, but am pulling my hair trying to get it to work with IE7 (yes, unfortunately a large enough portion of the users of the site still use that awful browser).

If you look at the attached pictures, you see how it should look (and does look in FF3) and how it looks in IE7.

FF
Resized Image

IE7
Resized Image

I would really appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction or suggest an area (css properties etc) where I should focus my efforts to solve this and make the menu look nice in normal browsers as well as that abomination called IE7.

Trying out 1.0.9 with Xoops 2.4.4 and for me it works out-of-the-box, with a few bugs (which may not be related to the Xoops version anyway).

1. When changing the weight of the categories to arrange the order, the columns for number of albums and photos is not updated or is just plain wrong (mixed up).

2. No jQuery effects work on the albums (regardless if you load jQuery in the module or not).

I meant it should be distributed with the core, e.g. as the Protector module, not actually part of the core.

IIRC, isn't Mastop Publish more of a static content module?

What's the major difference between the Content module by ForMuss and the one by Kerkyra?

Regerdless, it's probably a good idea to include one or two "content creating" modules in the core to help newcomers, as you have discussed above.

Yes, Rodney and I have been discussing about changing the templates anyway, but could you be a bit more specific of what you envision?

This sounds really interesting. I'm currently using tplleaguestats on one of my sites and would like to replace it.

The REAL football (i.e. soccer for you Americans) and hockey.

- The possibility for a straight series (i.e. all teams in a league face each other a number of times and the one on top of the table at the end is the winner, much like most of Europes football/soccer leagues work),

- a series with a number of teams reaching the playoffs after the regular season (i.e. hockey style),

- cup competitions including both pure knock-out games (possibly with two legs, like many country specific european cups in football/soccer)

- and the option for round robin games in several groups followed by a playoff (like the Champions League for football/soccer in europe, actually sort of a mini version of the NHL league setup)

I'll be happy to provide more info if any of the above sounds interesting.

Do you plan to integrate this with xRoster?

You can look at the Joomla module JoomSport for some inspiration.http://demo.beardev.com/
