Sending email to users in html format

I think I remember reading that the later versions of XOOPS core allow sending of email to users in html format.

Was I on crack? The "email users" part of the admin menu looks like it used to and no html option seems to be available.

I did some testing and it seems to only send text.

Thanks for any help you may have,
Tim

Re: Editors that users can select from

I selected from that list a few days ago, but it is not there now.

In the Administration area, I selected from a list of available editors. It was you (sailjapan) who suggested where I should find that list:
Quote:
admin>modules>(forum)>preferences>Form Options

and then:
Quote:
there are still 5 editors available from the dropdown menu.

When adding or entering a post, in the editor window, there are still 5 editors available from the dropdown menu.

Please let me know if you are still confused and I can try to phrase this differently.

Thanks,
Tim

Re: Image Manager broken after 2.3.2 upgrade

I guess the problem is that nothing visible is inserting in the text area in Koivi editor.

The icon described above used to insert the image in the text area and that this no longer happens.

If you use the left center and right icons into koivi it does nothing visible. If you then preview it, the text appears in the text box but not the image.

With my usual use of the editor, it is very useful to see the image so that you have the correct description for the inserted images.

Thanks,
Tim

Yes, the same thing happens in IE and FF.

There used to be an icon like this Resized Image as well as the left, center and right icons that placed the image as visible in the editor window - this icon is no longer there.

Re: Trying to install Forums CBB 4 RC

Changing the config.php in Frameworks seems to have done the trick.

Many thanks for that - I would never have found that by myself.

Cheers,
Tim

I tried that change and it didn't work.

Please see this page:

For an example, refresh the page and watch the images resize.

Thanks.

No it isn't that - there are still 5 editors available from the dropdown menu.

Re: Trying to install Forums CBB 4 RC

OK, but now new problems.

Despite trying to turn off all forms of thumbnailing, the forums are now decreasing the size of all images in the post. They initially render at full size, then snap to a smaller size.

How do I turn this off? Please.
