Noticed the following in the Readme of Pico:

Quote:
(3) copy two files under html/class/smarty/plugins/ in the archive into your class/smarty/plugins/

One of those two files, namely "function.xoopsdhtmlarea.php" will be overwritten. Will this affect a XOOPS 2.0.16 installation adversely?

Also, Peak XOOPS has announced the following:

Quote:

Have You Fixed The Incompatibility?
If you use the core 2.0.14/15/16 from xoops.org and you want to try my modules, you have to fix the incompatibility (I believe this is a BUG) of core.
Read how to fix XOOPS 2.0.16

Has this bug fix been implemented, and if not, has it been planned for the next release? I really like the way GIJoe uses the XOOPS_Trust_Path for his modules and it seems that he will be designing all of his modules to use this strategy.

Once again, Bluestockings clears up the muck.

Moderators are easily identified by the Moderator designation in the Forum Index within each forum.

The Moderator for this particular Forum:

Moderator phppp

Moderators for XOOPS.org Member Lounge:

Moderator Bender bluenova JMorris smdcom gediminasbyt

Now just look at the "Who's Online" block to see if any of these particular Moderators are logged in and online.

They don't have to be colored or marked to easily find one.

Granted, the Moderator designation in the Forum Index would have to be kept updated.

As far as figuring out who did what...this shouldn't even be a question if they stick with the rules and keep the personalities out of it.

I think identifying mods online is a good idea. I also agree that it would be useful to anonymise them a bit (mod 1 etc) - this would depersonalise moderation issues.

+1

But, I feel that using "color" as outlined in the following quote would be the better option.

Quote:
How about a compromise? We could probably change the "Who is online" box to either add a [Mod] tag or show the mods in color or both. So you can still quickly find one if online but at the same time we are not hiding.

A voice for the end user--sounds good to me. I like the way you put everything that's been happening as of late in one post.

I'm sure if anything you wrote needs clarification or correction someone in the know will step up.

By the way, this sounds like a team that most XOOPSers could be a part of and enable even the newest of the new to contribute to the XOOPS project. I certainly would like to help XOOPS in any way I can.
