Re: xoops installation appears without graphics

Hi,

You've probably fixed it by now, but I had a similar problem which turned out to be caused by "hotlinking protection" enabled on the server. If your server has a cpanel you can disable it in there.

Contact Us or not

Hi,
I can't get the contact us module to work. I have checked & double checked the settings, and tried smtp as well, and tried updating the module but it still won't go.
Any suggestions?

Re: Module Conflicts? Fatal Error - Catads

Back again,

Eventually sorted it out (actually the sever peple did - if you need hosting try siteground.com -their support is excellent)
I have got a small (I hope) problem with the shoutbox module.
If people shout & add a smiley you can only see the smiley if your logged in, if not logged in you see: http://mysite/uploads/smil3dbd4ec4f2.gif

And in IE there are errors on the page:
Line: 5
Char: 6
Error: Permission denied
Code: 0
URL: http://mysite.com/forum/modules/shoutbox/shoutframe.php

And if I don't allow annonomous poster to shout it displays my header in the shout box.
Anyone know how to fix this?

#1062 - Duplicate entry '4' for key 1

I had transfered the database from a standalone phpbb2 board using a script: Database transfer from PHPBB origin 2.0.x to PHPBB module 1.2x by Koudanshi, I didn't get any errors during the transfer, I know absolutely nothing about databases and sql does anyone know how I can fix it

Module Conflicts? Fatal Error - Catads

Hi,
I've been up all night trying to sort this out
I just finished my site and logged out only to be presented
with a blank page and could not access the site at all.
I searched the forums and changed a line in common.php
from: error_reporting(0);
To: error_reporting(E_ALL);

and it came up with:
Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_IF in /backup/home/mysite/include/common.php on line 111

Then my server support people found another error (sorry I copied it and lost it) but it was something like "fatal error - catads.
I tried re uploading the catads module but no luck, still can't access the site.
I have these modules installed and I'm running XOOPS 2.09.2
back pack
shout box
chess
xoops gallery
xp weather
survey
quote for xoops
petite anouncemnts - small ads
e calendar

Does anyone know if there are any conflicts between these modules? Do I have to start again or can I fix it?

Help Please

Custom Blocks Not showing properly HELP

The custom blocks I make aren't showing only the titles and the preview doesn't work either, I've tried them on different pages and left, right & center but still no luck.
I've upgraded from 2.0.9.2 to 210.
