I've installed XOOPS on two machines. On one, call it computer A, the installation showed graphics and after install, also showed graphics.

On the other, call it B, when I originally installed xoops, everything was graphical. I had a testing requirement that I delete the first installation an re-install. Ths time, install procedure did NOT show graphics, text only. The install completed, apparently successfully, but still, no graphics, text only. SO I wiped that out and tried again, same result: no graphics.

From B I can log on to A's XOOPS and it comes up WITH graphics.

I have checked and re-checks settings, paths, URLs, etc, and cabn't find any different between the two installations except for URL.

Puzzled. Any suggestions?

Regards, John Sandell

Hi,

You've probably fixed it by now, but I had a similar problem which turned out to be caused by "hotlinking protection" enabled on the server. If your server has a cpanel you can disable it in there.
