mmmnnn... i tried to cache the block but no luck. everything else worked as you all said,

<P ALIGN=center><IFRAME SRC="http://foo.fooer.org:6969/" WIDTH=700 HEIGHT=700></IFRAME></P>

did the trick for my particular site. at the moment page bandwidth isn't a major problem, but it will be. maybe on the next version of XOOPS i'll spend more time on figuring this out. thanks for your help though. i wonder how the guy who started this thread made out?

I like this, "...U can simply add it as IFrame to your XOOPS..." - DCrussader. But it raises another question. If I'm using bittorrent to limit bandwidth requirements, what about the bandwith for the tracker webpage being framed?

Even with the very speedy connection at my apartment I still get swamped once in a while just from people viewiing the tracker in their browser. So I'm thinking to have visitors sent to my hosted XOOPS site (which has a ton of bandwidth) and see an iframed version of my tracker (hosted at home - fedora with azureus) that's updated maybe once a minute. I want hands on control of my tracker but don't want everybody coming to whatever.dydns.org at my house.

Anbody know how to have the iframe update periodically or of a better way? I really like the iframe idea, thanks man.

just about any text editor works fine for editing SQL. i like jEdit for any playing with text. Or jEdit X.

i'm no programer and this was my workaround, i used a bittorrent client like Azureus on my pc and used it's built in tracker. this tracker also has an rss feed. i used an rss module in xoops. now my tracker shows up on my XOOPS site. :) I also liked this combo because it's easy to limit bandwidth with Azureus.

Is this of any concern to us or has it been taken care of?

Hi all. Here's an easy question for somebody. How do you delete inactive users (they didn't respond to the confirmation email) in XOOPS 2.2.3 RC1? When I click on their username it just says "no user selected" and sends me to my account. Thanks.

Hi all. Got a question that's over my head. I use Yahoo web hosting. The have a browser based backup tool for MySQL. Every once in a while it just stops working. So I complain to tech support. They keep telling me "The reason that your database backup is not working is the database file ownership keeps changing". So I was like, how the hell am I doing that? So they just keep changing the ownership back to me. It stopped working again today and I flipped. Told them I want my money back, blah blah blah. Then they ask me the following:

"Our records indicate you have made some changes to xoops_myref_* table under your database today, which caused problem. What exact did you to do modify that table? I have fixed the ownership issue for you. You should be able to backup fine now."

I change stuff constantly on my site and don't know what that is. Does anybody have an idea? Is it unique to my site or have other people had similar problems? Thanks for any tips!
