Thanks for your replies. :)

1. Cant you put the news directly in www.mydomain.com/?
If not I guess i'll have to set them as start page.

2. No i got caching disabled for all modules right now. :(

3. @rafnabergr The central part of my main page will be all news theres no other content i could put there.

I've already done a lot of cloning and uploading, but the news templates are not part of a theme (folder) afaik?

You cant edit the templates online, and I aint got them on the harddrive. How am I supposed to change them?

I thought you had to edit /modules/news/templates/news_xxx.html but that has NO effect on my articles.

What templates are responsible for the news?

simplest question ever

How do you display the news on the start page? Most ppl redirect to /modules/news/, but I'd like em to show up on the front page without any redirecting.

Is that possible? By editing index.php or mainfile.php?

If not, how to redirect without any delay?

hi

i've added a custom block to my right hand menu and linked it to a page.

the page was written in php so what i basically did was to take the theme.html, save it as php, and replace the Display center blocks if any part of it with the php stuff so it would show up in the center right between the menus.

it doesnt work. the php page is displayed correctly, but the left and right menu stuff isnt parsed.

the
<{foreach item=block from=$xoops_rblocks}>
<{include
file="../themes/xxx/theme_blockright.html"}> <{/foreach}>

part just shows up where the menus are sposed to be

Help? How do you insert php stuff to be displayed in the main (center) area?
