Well, I'm not a guru on SQL Database and so I just gonna guess and I heard some people encountered problems with firewalls.

In this way I think is the access problem from your site to the database. What OS are you running?

Are you able to login into the phpMyAdmin of any SQL Database manager to check if you queries has been deleted or corrupted?

You can also run some command like repair table, optimize etc.

Firstly did you install any modules? (news, newbb, etc.??)

You need to set the start page at the:

Admin Menu -> Pref -> Start page

If you don't want start page you can add blocks.

You are right Arowana, but the way he meant is the server compabilities.
He has two different versions and I suggest you backup before you try the lower versions.

I'm using
Apache: 1.3.31
PHP version: 4.3.8-9
MySQL version: 4.0.20

lol, maybe I can't tell and something. One time I have a 10000 hits in one day. When I look at the stats I was like shocked.

I'm saying what in the world happened to my site...
