Can't View Moderators' Profile Pages

I'm the site admin, and get "You don't have permission to access this area" when I click on a Moderator's name to try to view his/her profile page. I can view the profiles of members of other groups normally.

XOOPS 2.3.3

Where should I look?

I have shell access on my server, so I've been working with permissions off the command line. The environment is set to 'suPHP', which basically means that PHP runs with the permissions of my user account.

I assume this means that I don't have to try to adjust permissions with FTP / cPanel since I can do it on the command line. Does applying perms from the tree upwards still hold true in this environment?

Thanks for your helpful response,

-b-

I am having the same problem with page.idx. I set the files and directories to world writable, no go. Then I removed /www/uploads/dokuwiki altogether and went into the module control panel. Here I see:

datadir:/home/kutaki/www/uploads/dokuwiki/pages/ ( Not available Create )
olddir:/home/kutaki/www/uploads/dokuwiki/attic/ ( Not available Create )
cachedir:/home/kutaki/www/uploads/dokuwiki/cache ( Not available Create )

So I click Create on each of those three, and the /www/uploads/dokuwiki directory structure is created - but I still get the "/page.idx is not writable. Check your permissions settings!" error.

I'm using DokuWiki 2.2 on XOOPS 2.3.3. (Maybe this is my problem?)

Thanks,

-b-

Thanks,

I guess what I find a bit confusing is that the page linked above is talking about DokuWiki as a stand-alone installation rather than as a XOOPS module. So the installation process is different, for example. What I'm not clear about is where to start with the documentation after I've installed the XOOPS module.

For example, should I start here at the ACL:
http://www.dokuwiki.org/acl

or at the file permissions:
http://www.dokuwiki.org/install:permissions

I don't understand how DokuWiki permissions work as a XOOPS module. I assume that it must have to somehow use XOOPS accounts, but if I have no permissions to write a page as a XOOPS admin...

I notice that after the module installation,
modules/dokuwiki/conf/users.auth.php and
modules/dokuwiki/conf/acl.auth.php don't exist, only
modules/dokuwiki/conf/users.auth.php.dist

Do I use that last one as a template to create the other two? Where is the documentation that talks about this?

Thanks,

-b-

All I see there is a "link" to Zmplicity.com. It doesn't look like the site is still active.

Thanks,

Hi All,

I'm new to wikis and have installed the DokuWiki module. For now I just want my XOOPS site admins to testdrive it, so after installing I went into the the admin control panel into Wiki -> Permissions and checked the "All" box for the Admin group, then clicked Submit.

Then I went back to the front page of my site and clicked on the DokuWiki link in the Main Menu. This took me to the "Start" page for the module:

"Start
You are here: start
DokuWiki for XOOPS..." etc.

I don't really know how to go about starting to create pages from here. If I click on the "Show Page Source" button at the bottom of this Start page, I see the message: "This page is read only. You can view the source, but not change it. Ask your administrator if you think this is wrong."

Why don't I have permissions to edit this page after having given the Admin group full permissions in the Module control panel? How do I get a new page going? Are there any file permissions or config file edits that I have to do after installing the module?

Thanks,

-b-

I did some poking around and realized what people meant by "default template set" - which can be found in the Admin panel in System -> Preferences -> General Settings.

I set the template set to "default" and that solved the problem for me as well.

PS: This happens on all pages, not only when I logout - but when I do log out, its the page "modules/profile/user.php?op=logout". I uninstalled and reinstalled the profile module, and now DEBUG gives me this:

Notice: Use of undefined constant XOOPS_COOKIE_DOMAIN - assumed 'XOOPS_COOKIE_DOMAIN' in file /modules/profile/user.php line 81

Do I need to download and install a new profile module?

Thanks,

-b-

I am having this same problem after upgrading to 2.3.3. What module were you using?

When I turn on DEBUG, I see this error:
"Use of undefined constant XOOPS COOKIE_DOMAIN"

I've been Googling around for this but haven't been able to find anything.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Hi Mamba,

My apologies, when I went to
http://sourceforge.net/projects/xoops/files/XOOPS%20Core%20%28stable%20releases%29/XOOPS%202.3.3/

I downloaded the wrong file (xoops-2.3.2b-to-2.3.3.tar.gz) instead of this file: xoops-2.3.3.tar.gz

I'll get the correct file this time and start again from scratch. Thanks for helping me figure out my mistake.
