Terrific! It seems to work like a charm on my local test site both under root path and under subdir. Just some more tests and I'll put it onto my live site. Thanks for the work.
Alexon, did you try a search into this forum and read that: ShortURLs hack? It's really a question, not a bad french joke! I think JackJ is using this hack, but I can't be really sure (I just saw he had posted in this thread).
Hi alexon, jackJ has just proceed as described, of course you cannot see the .../modules/news/ because he's using an url mod_rewrite. But be sure that what he has explained is the solution to have articles fully visibles.
That's too much but at least it should be working! chmod 644 (-rw-r-r-) for those files is enough. Are you saying that, with the cache dir set to 777 and .dat files to 777 (in your case), you still have a returned error?
No you didn't. Another question, did you upload any .dat files (in cahce dir) from your local site to your live site for example? If it's the case could you check the permissions for those files and tell it to me please?
Hi crayon, as the file name says m_e-xoops-b1.05_books it seems to be an e-xoops module, not a XOOPS one. So to use it with xoops, you certainly need to change or arrange some portions of code.
Yes, it looks pretty good. But...is there someone who can translate it, at least, in english? Because I don't speak any chinese. So install it (to test it) isn't very easy.
