Is there a chance you'll update this activao.php file to XOOPS 2.0.13.2 ? Instead of implementing in within xmail?
SOme would like it seperate instead of instaling a whole module.

Grtz., Shine

I'd like this too. I dont want to load an entire module for this one function.

Core XOOPS Developers, has anyone considered implementing this directly into the XOOPS baseline code?

don't know anymore, since it was a long time ago I installed it.
But hey,...just install and try it out yourself and you'll get the answer

Thanks for your suggestions, but this approach merely sends out an email. I need to resend the "activation email" as I dont want to get in the habit of hacking the data base or manually activating these users (and changing their password and sending it to them).

Any other suggestions out there in XOOPS land?

Does that send a generic email or a copy of the activation email?

On my site, there are some users who registered but the activation email was sent to their spam folder and was deleted.

How can I resend the activation email from ADmin or elsewhere?

Changing Votes in CBB 3.04 Poll Feature?

I'm using CBB and polls and dont see how a user can change their vote in a poll through CBB. You could navigate to the Xoopspoll module and change your vote their, but I'd rather do all the Poll voting via CBB.

I'm using XOOPS 2.0.13.2 and CBB 3.04

Admin Find Inactive Users Error?

When using the Admin Fnd Users function for inactive users only (.../modules/system/admin.php?fct=findusers), when you click on an inactive user, you get the following page:

Quote:

No User Selected! Please go back and try again.
If the page does not automatically reload, please click here

Why can't I as the Administrator view an inactive users "info?"

Sorry about that, but when I changed this in modules/newbb/language/english/main.php:

// !!IMPORTANT!! insert '\' before any char among reserved chars: "a", "A","B","c","d","D","F","g","G","h","H",
"i","I","j","l","L","m","M","n","O","r","s","S","t",
"T","U","w","W","Y","y","z","Z"
// insert double '\' before 't', 'r', 'n'
define("_MD_TODAY", "\T\o\d\a\y G:i:s");
define("_MD_YESTERDAY", "\Y\e\s\\t\e\\r\d\a\y G:i:s");
define("_MD_MONTHDAY", "n/j G:i:s");
define("_MD_YEARMONTHDAY", "Y/n/j G:i");

the joined date changed...

Obviously your system is different than mine

Thanks MSDANA...I changed the format. Curious as to why several modules use different date formats, that are not easily changed.

Thanks again,
Kurt

Thanks. I tracked it down to user.php in newbb/class. the Format in there is Y-m-d. So I changed it there. So you noticed yours changed just by adding the backslashes?

Thanks,
Kurt

thanks, but this file contains the text for the item (e.g. "Joined:"). I'm looking to change from YYYY/MM/DD to DD/MM/YYYY.

I *think* that you change it in the globals.php file. Check out this FAQ on changing date and time formats. I had to do this a couple of months ago and I *believe* this is the way.

HTH

Yea, checked there and I have all three dates:

define("_DATESTRING","n/j/Y G:i:s");
define("_MEDIUMDATESTRING","n/j/Y G:i");
define("_SHORTDATESTRING","n/j/Y");

set as I like, yet CBB is displaying a different way.

Short of hacking a template/module, anyone have any suggestions?
