blah blah blah. is your opinion against the foundation or just herko marco.

seems you just can't help but provoke things.

you know what most people do when people keep *demanding* things instead of just asking politely. they tend to ignore the demands and prolong the outcome of what is requested.

there's 12 days till october 1st, can't you just leave things alone till then and stop with the demands.

after the 1st october, you have a valid reason to *ask politely* again, but not demand!!

if you are wanting a W3C valid template then adding

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="<{$xoops_url}>/modules/yourmodule/yourstylesheet.css" />

will make the templates invalid.

you're better to use >

$xoTheme->addStylesheet(XOOPS_URL.'/modules/<modulename>/stylesheet.css');

place that code right after where it says

include XOOPS_ROOT_PATH '/header.php';

in the php file itself. that will then inject the stylesheet into the <head> of the theme during parsing.

including the link in the template itself will also not work fully if you have module cache enabled too. so the $xoTheme method is best..

It's partly your fault. Your destructive posts about the people who are trying to rebuld the XOOPS project result in a lack of motivation among people who might otherwise want to help.

wow, wouldn't have expected that from you dave, given that we all were fully motivated enough to spend the best part of a year arranging, organising and working on the new XOOPS websites etc, only for all the work to be thrown back in our faces and totally wasted (well not toally wasted now tho). that was certainly unmotivating for us for sure. did you really expect us to keep quiet? would you have kept quiet if a years worth of work by you had been thrown back at you and made a total waste of time? i think not.

will that stop darcy spamming her end-user links in everybody's threads? lol

ie.https://xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=60794&forum=28&post_id=272217#forumpost272217

that would be considered spam by many. especially when mostly it's just a reply that has no bearing on the topic title.. consider it spam & off-topic.

how many times will she post

http://www.xoops.net.br/index.php?title=Talk:ModuleDevelopment

or

http://www.xoops.net.br/index.php?title=Category:ModuleDevelopment

in threads where people are asking for help, they aren't asking to be added to her list or anything..

peekay & debianus were the only 2 people offering an actual relevant reply in the thread above.

come on, it's getting tedious. no offense darcy, but it is annoying too. (and yes i know i'm annoying)

Huh? What anonymous users could you be referencing? Is it the moderators? Because if it is, I believe everyone here will agree that that idea has been working quite well.

well? i beg to differ. when i want a moderator i goto kc0maz or javesey, when i want to have a go at a moderator i'll goto kc0maz or javesey, when i want to report something, we all goto kc or javesey.. lol

what's the point in them having a forumModerator1 & 2 username? we all know who the mods are, it is absolutely no different to how it was b4.. i don't complain to forummoderator1 because forummoderator1 is kc, javesey is forummoderator2. the only difference now is that they have to login with a seperate username just to moderate which is pointless when they can do it in their own name.

why would it create problems to have a 1 account per person rule? sorry i'm lost on that regard. and i don't find BS's opinion in that matter credible enough to discount the rule change whatsoever.

why the need for multiple accounts? unless you're a certified schizophrenic.

and i take my hat off, i was against having anonymous names, but a few people voted for it, now people are saying they don't want to hide behind anonymous names.. well i can honestly say i did see that 1 coming.. you can't please everyone.. but anonymity is a bad idea when everyone seems to be asking for open & transparent communication..

and yes, as for enforcing it, there's not many ways to tell if a user has multiple accounts, but if you are found to have them, then you were warned. and in most cases eventually you will be discovered..

if you think this site was bad, then you should have been on audiogalaxy in it's hey day, now that site was a job & half to moderate on, that i can assure you, when some users were discovered through time to have over 300 accounts each.

and besides the fact multiple accounts increase the membership numbers and therefore it portrays that there are more actual members than there actually is, in effect it's false advertising and a waste of database time and processing power..

i think formulize has an option to upload files (i could be wrong)

you could basically set the form up in formulize say like "submit your file here" and only have the browse button and possibly a field for the users email address or whatever. and just use that formulize form for that purpose.
