Hi,

Help required for a split mind...

I would really like to make a site using XOOPS 2.2.3 - but am unsure as to how stable the version really is...

Guess the question is regarding the meaning of "Final" in the version's name, and if anyone can indicate as to how big a gamble using 2.2.3, might be.. (I do not mind taking risks, afterall life is a risky business - but I'd like to know what size is the risk before I take it.. Got to learn from the past.. ..)

Thanks for any clues..

Best wishes,

Aharon

X

Hi,

I am attempting to install zentrackxoops_2_5_5_2_r2 on XOOPS 2.0.13.1

After installing the module:

* When I click the module icon to admin it. I get:

Warning: main(/headerInc.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory Path_To/modules/zentrack/header.php on line 213

Warning: main(): Failed opening '/headerInc.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in Path_To/modules/zentrack/header.php on line 213

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: tr() in Path_To/modules/zentrack/admin/admin_header.php on line 7

---------

Obviously, I have no idea why this module doesn't work for me. I was looking for some documentation, and couldn't find..

Has anyone got any possible clues...?

Thanks a lot!

Best wishes,

Aharon

Hi,

I have installed smartmedia on XOOPS version 2.0.13.1, and just can not find how to upload media files...

Made categories, folders withing the categories, and "clips" within the folders - but where do I upload my clips from..?

I am probably missing something very obvious, but it keeps slipping away..

Thanks for any suggestions.

Best regards,

Aharon

Hi,

I am in a process of putting a bid for some project funds. The project, I hope, will run on xoops. Therefore, I am looking for coder/s who will be able to contribute specific modules. (Probably some module hacking as well..)
Preferably, the coder/s will be based in Sheffield or South yorkshire - but that's probably asking for a bit too much..(?)
Otherwise, anywhere really...

Please contact me, if you are, or you know of a XOOPS coder...

Best regards,

Aharon

Slightly off topic - but still about the site map module...

The module seems to work by mapping the sites' other modules. (e.g. All that's in forums, pical, downloads, etc..)

Is there a possibility to make sitemap module maping the site by subjects or categories..?
(e.g. category windsurfing, and underneath give all forums, downloads, images, etc. related to windsurfing..?)

Best wishes!

Hi,

I want to make a site based on issues. Users come, add an issue and furnish it with any media or genre available. (e.g. ID cards = issue. Then you can upload sounds, images, write blogs etc. related to the issue..)

I also want to do it on xoops, because the way it is made is sound. But I have a feeling it is impossible to arrange media on XOOPS based on issues like that.. ( I could write the issues myself and relate various media - but can not seem to enable users to do it as and when..)

...or am I missing something about xoops..?

Best wishes!

I think you might want to play with multimenu:https://xoops.org/modules/news/article.php?storyid=2164

Good luck!
