Or better yet, read the news posted by Skalpa months ago, explaining the direction development is taking.

Did you try editing the file /install/class/mainfilemanager.php as Skalpa suggested?

(I'm just curious to know whether it worked for you)

Your module directory structure is not correct.

This FAQ should help.

Or this one about installing modules

It's not difficult to do this with XOOPS. The themes and templates are just html files, so you can easily make it look like the rest of your site. And there's no reason why you can't link to the XOOPS pages from your static site.

With the next version you should be able to upgrade directly from 2.0.13... so I suggest waiting.

Upgrade to XOOPS 2.0.13.2 to have the security fixes and latest stable release.

Always make a backup before upgrading, and if you are unsure then upgrade a copy of your site locally first.

By the way, XOOPS 2.2.3 is completly stable, isn't it?

I would not say that it's completely stable. I suggest you stay with 2.0.13.2 if you don't need the new features of 2.2.3.

'unable to read resource' normally means the folder permissions aren't set correctly.

Check the permissions on cache, uploads and templates_c directories.

Did you make any changes to the system_userinfo.html template?
