Are your notifications set to be in a block or are they inline? You can check in CBB Admin -> Properties. If ther are in blocks then you will need to make the system notification block visible.

Not too sure if this is the issue but HTH.

Cheers.

Hi there.

Genereally block order is dependant on each block's weight. If you wish to control the order of blocks and pages (ie do blocks come before or after content) then you have to edit the theme.

This shouldn't matter since XOOPS 2.0.14 as you can have blocks above and/or below your content now (providing the theme you are using supports this).

HTH.

There might be an issue with the IUSR_(machine) account not having the correct read access required. You might need to send an email to your webhosts and ask them to provide full permissions to the IIS service user to mainfile.php (initially) and the cache/templates_c/uploads folders.

HTH.

Hi Bryan.

Do you have persistent connections to mySQL?

mainfile.php
define('XOOPS_DB_PCONNECT'1);

If so then set this to 0.

If it is not the above then you will need increase the number of simultaneous connections to your mySQL server.

HTH.

Looks like a mySQL error. From what I gather from the message you might have insufficient disk space left in your server's drive or insufficient previledges for the tmp folder.

Google mySQL (Errcode: 17) for more pointers.

Cheers.

I can guarantee that there is absolutely no Python code in Xoops.

First check your local XOOPS files then contact your host if you don't get anywhere.

xoops is suitable for this type of site

Yes it is possible but not without a tremendous amount of hacking.

Hi AlienHand.

My reply suggested that the problem was not with XOOPS but with the way my MTA was rejecting my outgoing emails due to my incorrect setup.

Xoops' notification emails work (as they do here and on all my XOOPS sites). Unfortunately with current anti-spam measures in place it is difficult to write an email generating system that will cater for all email servers. This is where you will need to either configure your MTA or determine what the correct headers from XOOPS should be and modify accordingly for your site.
