You might go into your panel server and select MySql. Then go to the XOOPS folders and run a check on the MySQL db of Xoops. If it's corrupted you can fix it with the repair tool in the MySql.

I went into CPanel and ran a check on XOOPS MySQL and had some corruption. I ran the CPanel repair, and Voila~ it was fixed.

Some twit hack my site

Not a big deal as far as I can tell at this point.

When I log in as admin and enter my password I get the screen that says I'm OK, but then the page refreshes and voila there is no admin page. When I try user.php and enter data, then enter admin.php it says I'm not authorized.

I need a workaround

Can I just copy the 2.0.9.2 files over the existing 2.0.9.2 files?

I've got no notifications, and I think there must have been some issue between Koudanshi IPB mod. The notifications could be set with his mod to work through the IPB boards.

So...I've eliminated the IPB mod, updated the system, and still no notifications. I thought I'd just copy the XOOPS files over the server XOOPS files.

-----------------

I've also updated to the latest 2.0.2 final NEWBB2, so do I leave the newbb and not copy from the XOOPS 2.0.9.2 newbb to the server. I sure don't want to screw up the message boards..

DonXoop

I allow PNG/GIF/JPG & ZIP/TAR/RAR files only for uploading files...For WF-DOWNLOADS.

I guess this is what you mean, do you see anything wrong with the above?

In the NEWBB2

I've disabled the ability of registered user from attaching files to their postings. I'm not sure what kind of security issues it provides for ner-do-wells.

I'd like to enable the function on some boards since it would be something extra to encourage board use. This way I might build traffic a little faster on the boards.

I'd like to read just how the attached file function works, and benefits.

Re: Admin/groups - I get this error message

I don't have access to the logs.

I emailed the host and sent the error message.

Thanks for your responses.
