Hi,
That was quick Thanks!
It's here: https://xoops.org/modules/repository/singlefile.php?cid=65&lid=1202

I've been trying it out on a test site for a few days, it looks like a really good module, but I just can't figure it out, it's probably something really simple that I just can't see

Hi,
I am having problems working out the quiz module
I can't get my head round it. When I set up a quiz I get this:

MYQUIZCATLIST

France :
test you knowledge

(0 _MYQUIZ_MYQUIZ)
_MYQUIZ_COPY

Does anyone have any instructions on how to use the quiz module? I just can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

Hi Artigas,
Many thanks for your help
I couldn't find anything in the database, so I set up a test site and installed just XOOPS & the phpbb module installing only the default themes & new database, I displayed the recent topics block and using sql debug mode I got the exact same error message. In some respects I'm relieved as (I hope)
this indicates that my other database is ok.

Now I'm wondering how many other users of this module also have the error and haven't noticed maybe because they haven't used debug or maybe don't display the recent topics block.
and (not knowing much about these things ) whether it's likely to cause problems later on.

Anyone else out there with this error?

This is the recent topics part:

INSERT INTO `xoops_newblocks` VALUES ('47', '19', '1', '10|1|time', 'Recent Topics', 'Recent Topics', '', '5', '4', '0', 'M', 'H', '1', 'pbboard', 'pbboard.php', 'pbboard_show', 'pbboard_edit', 'pbboard_block_new.html', '0', '1113689376');

These are the only bits I can find that mention the pbb board theme:

INSERT INTO `xoops_pbb_config` VALUES ('smilies_path', '../../uploads');
INSERT INTO `xoops_pbb_config` VALUES ('default_style', '2');
INSERT INTO `xoops_pbb_config` VALUES ('default_dateformat', 'D M d, Y g:i a');

These are the pbb board themes dump (subsilver is the theme that came with the board, aphrodite is the one I added):

-- xoops_pbb_themes dump.

INSERT INTO `xoops_pbb_themes` VALUES ('1', 'subSilver', 'subSilver', 'subSilver.css', '', 'E5E5E5', '000000', '445395', '5493B4', '', 'DD6900', 'EFEFEF', 'E5E5E5', 'EFEFEF', '', '', '', '445395', '445395', 'EFEFEF', 'cellpic1.gif', 'cellpic3.gif', 'cellpic2.jpg', 'FAFAFA', 'EFEFEF', '', 'row1', 'row2', '', 'Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif', 'Trebuchet MS', 'Courier, \'Courier New\', sans-serif', '10', '11', '12', '444444', '006600', 'FFA34F', '', '', '', '0', '0');

Hi Artygas,

I uninstalled the first template but still get the error.
If I don't display the "recent forum topics" block I don't get the error
I just checked the other blocks that go with the module but they don't give the error.

Hi,

I can't get it to work either
Also how do I remove the grey shading? I'd like to have an all white page with just the text "Loading" and the flashing gif

Also how do you edit the "Thankyou for visiting...you are now logged off" page?

Hi,

No not quite (but it's very good!).
What I was thinking of was a module to translate small amounts of text ie: similar to Altavistas bablefish.
My site is an expat website for english people living abroad. and users are often asking for a translation tool that will allow them to enter in small amounts of text say in english and translate it into french for example. It would be nice to be able to do it within XOOPS rather than sending them off to the Altavista website.
