if you use smtp make sure that you set the correct info for that...as i can see its not set correctly.

make sure you have pop account that you can use to set your smpt.

I wonder why phpmail dont work if your using unix?

login to your XOOPS then go to admin>>>system admin>>then modules.. set the module to "0" in order to hide the module you dont want in main menu

yes just login then go to admin area..

go to any module you want your notification to be off..

then click the module preferences find the enable notification? set it to "Disabled Notification"

what do you mean submenu?

theres only submenu in menu area if the module you install is define to have submenu but if not there would be no submenu

user group is just a group it wont appear in your profile..maybe in your newbb form. you make group in order to add or edit any level of access you want to give them..

the problem is in your module make sure that your module is correct and no erros in admin area.. if errors still the same try to download the latest module for spotlight

before you upgrade make sure you make your backup.. if you gonna upgrade from cpanel
